(Dagbladet): Sterke krefter i det republikanske partiet har lenge desperat forsøkt å stoppe Donald Trump i jakten på nominasjonen til høstens presidentvalg, men så langt har det vært vanskelig å få de andre kandidatene til å trekke i samme retning.

Inntil nå.

Tidlig mandag morgen norsk tid kom det meldinger fra kampanjene til Ted Cruz og John Kasich om at de har blitt enige om å dele opp de tre neste delstatene seg imellom. Det skriver New York Times.

Jeff Roe leder kampanjen til senator Cruz fra Texas. Han sier at det nå er på tide at de «fokuserer tiden og ressursene i Indiana for å gjøre det enklere for Kasich å konkurrere i Oregon og New Mexico».

Likeledes kom en tilsvarende melding fra Kasichs sjefstrateg John Weaver. Han kunne fortelle at de nå «vil konsentrere seg om statene i vest, og gi Cruz fritt spillerom i Indiana».

Begge kampanjene forventer nå at deres allierte og støttespillere følger instruksjonene.

Rivaler i samme retning

Cruz og Kasich har lenge rivalisert. For det første har Cruz omtalt sistnevnte som et uromoment i valgkampen, og at Kasich ødelegger hans sjanser til å ta igjen Trump i antall delegater. Cruz har også stilt spørsmål om Kasich ser for seg å bli Trumps visepresidentkandidat.

Dette er ikke første gang forslaget blir bragt på bane. Allerede i mars skal Weaver ha forhørt seg med Roe om det var noen muligheter for å dele opp de resterende statene seg imellom. Det ble den gang blankt avvist av Cruz-leiren.

Trump selv responderte på nyheten på sedvanlig vis da han tok til Twitter:

- Wow. Løgnaktige Ted og Kasich skal samarbeide for å holde meg unna den republikanske nominasjonen. DESPERASJON, skriver han, før han fortsetter:

- Løgnaktige Ted og Kasich er matematisk sett døde og fullstendig desperate. Donorene og interessegruppene er ikke fornøyde med dem. Trist!

1237 delegater

Trump vant i forrige uke nominasjonsvalget i New York. For å unngå en «brokered convention», altså et åpent landsmøte, må en av de republikanske kandidatene i teorien vinne over 1237 delegater i nominasjonsvalgene.

Trump har nå 845, Ted Cruz har 559 og John Kasich 148.

Trump er nå den eneste kandidaten som kan nå 1237 delegater, og Cruz og Kasich drar nå i samme retning for å stoppe det.

(Dagbladet): Powerful forces within the Republican Party has long desperately tried to stop Donald Trump in pursuit of the nomination for this autumn's presidential election, but so far it has been difficult to get the other candidates to pull in the same direction.

Until now.

Early Monday morning Norwegian time there were reports from the campaigns to Ted Cruz and John Kasich that they have agreed to divide up the next three states among themselves.It writes New York Times.

Jeff Roe leader campaign to Senator Cruz of Texas. He says that now is the time that they "focus time and resources in Indiana to make it easier for Kasich to compete in Oregon and New Mexico."

Likewise got a similar message from Kasichs chief strategist John Weaver. He could tell that they now "will concentrate on the states in the west and give Cruz leeway in Indiana."

Both campaigns now expects its allies and supporters follow the instructions.

Rivals in the same direction

Cruz and Kasich has long rivals. Firstly Cruz described the latter as a disturbing element in the campaign, and that Kasich ruining his chances to catch up with Trump in the number of delegates. Cruz has also questioned whether Kasich envisions becoming Trumps running mate.

This is not the first time the proposal comes up. Already in March, Weaver have inquired with Roe if there were any possibilities for dividing up the remaining states among themselves. It was then rejected by Cruz camp.

Trump even responded to the news in conventional manner when he took to Twitter:

- Wow. Lying Favourable Ted and Kasich will work together to keep me away from the Republican nomination. Desperation, he writes, before continuing:

- Lying Favourable Ted and Kasich is mathematically dead and completely desperate. The donors and stakeholders are not satisfied with them. Sad!

1237 delegates

Trump won last week nomination election in New York. To avoid a "brokered convention", ie an open congress, one of the Republican candidates in theory win over 1237 delegates in nominating elections.

Trump now has 845, Ted Cruz has 559 and John Kasich 148.

Trump is now the only candidate that can reach 1237 delegates, and Cruz and Kasich go now in the same direction to stop it.

Sunday we got enough proof that everything that was previously unimaginable in a US presidential election is possible in 2016. Republican Charles Koch, one of the two wealthy Koch brothers, revealed that he is now considering supporting Hillary Clinton.  Both support NWO.
